Sattva-Omidyar Roundtable

  • The Sattva-Omidyar Roundtable aims to create a collaborative platform that facilitates dialogue among diverse stakeholders, enabling them to share insights and perspectives on CSR opportunities in urban development in Gujarat. By aligning identified project opportunities with the priorities and focus areas outlined by the Gujarat government, the roundtable ensures that CSR initiatives are well-informed and strategically positioned. Additionally, the event seeks to understand corporate entities' interest areas in Gujarat and evaluate the feasibility of implementing proposed CSR programs, thereby fostering impactful and sustainable urban development initiatives.

Strategic Partnership with Government of Assam’s CSR Authority

  • CSRBOX has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the CSR Authority of Assam (CSRAA), under the Industries, Commerce & Public Enterprises Department of the Government of Assam. This partnership aims to strengthen the CSR ecosystem in the state by facilitating impactful social and environmental initiatives.

    The collaboration will focus on addressing the gap in CSR funding in Assam and supporting key sectors such as education, healthcare, rural development, and environmental sustainability. The objective is to drive sustainable development and contribute to the state’s growth through effective CSR engagement and strategic project implementation.

HCL Symposium

  • Over the past two years, CSRBOX has achieved exceptional milestones in partnership with the HCL Foundation for the HCL Symposiums. In 2022, despite an anticipated audience of 1,800 across 10 locations, CSRBOX's outreach efforts resulted in a remarkable turnout of over 2,200 participants, significantly exceeding expectations. Similarly, in 2023, while the projected participation was 1,635 across 8 locations, CSRBOX's dedication led to an impressive total of 1,990 participants. These outcomes highlight the effectiveness of CSRBOX and HCL Foundation in mobilising engagement and fostering impactful collaborations, significantly enhancing the success and reach of the HCL Symposiums and the HCLTech Grant.

Partnership with Ministry of Culture, Government of India

  • CSRBOX has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the National Culture Fund (NCF), Ministry of Culture, Government of India, to establish the CSR Project Facilitation Unit (CPFU) in New Delhi for the next three years.

    The CPFU will act as a crucial link between corporate CSR funding and India’s key cultural and heritage preservation projects. The partnership aims to identify, curate, and implement initiatives that support heritage conservation across the country. By fostering strategic alliances, the CPFU will maximise the impact and resource utilisation of CSR initiatives, ensuring they contribute meaningfully to preserving India’s cultural legacy.

  • CSRBOX is leading sectoral thought leadership through regional engagements like the North East CSR Forum and the Deccan CSR Summit. These forums bring together CSR leaders, policymakers, and local organizations to address region-specific challenges, fostering collaboration and innovative solutions that drive impactful, sustainable social initiatives across India.

Rajasthan CSR Summit

  • CSRBOX organized the Rajasthan CSR Summit in 2018 and 2019, in partnership with the Government of Rajasthan. As the state’s largest CSR forum, the summit brought together business leaders, government agencies, and non-profits to explore development possibilities through CSR. The 2018 Jaipur event saw 650+ delegates and key partners like Vedanta and Aditya Birla Group. The 2019 summit aimed to reflect on five years of CSR compliance, fostering discussions on maximizing community impact.

Assam Regional Roundtable

  • Co-organised with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare's MERD department, this healthcare-focused roundtable brought together 60+ participants across corporates and institutional partners, including Guwahati Medical College, Assam Medical College, and AIIMS Guwahati. The convening created a structured dialogue between corporate CSR functions and public health infrastructure in the North-East, a geography that remains significantly underrepresented in national CSR conversations.

Ahmedabad CSR and ESG Roundtable

  • A closed-door convening led by Impact Practice, bringing together 15+ senior CSR and ESG decision-makers from organisations including Arvind, Concord Biotech, Ambuja Cement Foundation, and Deepak Nitrite. The session focused on ESG priorities and evolving CSR strategies, providing a confidential forum for peer-level exchange among Western India's most active corporate social investment functions.

Uttar Pradesh Regional Roundtable

  • Co-organised with the Vocational Education and Skill Development Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh, this roundtable convened 45+ participants from corporates including Lenovo, IBM, Siemens, and Generation India Foundation, alongside the UP Skill Development Mission. The engagement deepened the interface between corporate CSR priorities and state-level skilling infrastructure at a critical moment in UP's development agenda.

AI4Everyone

  • As artificial intelligence reshapes how organisations operate, the social sector faces a distinct risk of being left behind. Developed in collaboration with Microsoft India and EY GDS, AI4Everyone delivered structured AI literacy and tools training to 300 nonprofits across India, through in-person sessions in Bengaluru and Gurugram and virtual engagements nationwide. Participating organisations gained practical capability in AI applications across data management, communication, and programme planning, building the operational foundation that meaningful adoption requires.

Virtual Capacity Building

  • Eighty EY GDS professionals contributed nearly 1,000 hours of pro-bono consulting to social impact organisations, working across AI insights, project management, and strategic planning. The organisations supported through this engagement collectively serve over 2.95 crore individuals. At that scale, the quality of institutional capability built at the organisational level has consequences that extend well beyond the immediate participants.

River Bank Cleanup

  • Two hundred and forty-two volunteers from Legrand, NSS, and the surrounding community restored a 1 to 1.5 km stretch of the Ganga at Govindpuri Ghat in Haridwar, collecting over 2,379 kg of waste through systematic segregation and responsible disposal. The scale of mobilisation and the rigour of execution set a benchmark for what structured corporate volunteering can deliver in a single engagement.
